THAT GENTLE VOICE

That gentle voice
In Matthew 3:16 the Holy Spirit is described as being as gentle as a dove. “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
As a believing nurse, you may be familiar with God’s precious voice. For you it may be audible, or deep within your soul. Perhaps God’s gentle voice has lead you thru many trials and tribulations of every sort. He is your constant present friend who leads you through the most difficult of situations.
If you are not familiar with the gentle nature of the Holy Spirit, Nurse Friend, he is ready to be your Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3), Counselor (Romans 8:14), Helper (John 14:16), Intercessor (Romans 8:26), Advocate (John 14:26), and Strengthener (Philippians 4:13).
Nurse Friend, if all of this seems new to you, God longs to show you himself. And, all you must do is ask.
